Footwell Carpets

The main footwell carpets are nice and thick with foam and rubber foot mat.

These are fixed with 2 pop studs near the seat and the rest fits snugly at the front.
Pop stud spikes, or as I called them "Oouch........F**ing Bo**ox" (as I kneeled on one I unknowingly dropped on the carpet). Fitting is straight forward once you figure it out, The "OFB" protrudes through from the top and fixes the female pop stud underneath.
The trick is to pull the spikes through enough to hide the ring from the top side. pressing onto something hard like a stack of repair washers helps push them through.

Now the stud part. Place the male part under to locate it (Dont pop it in yet) lift up the carpet and mark where it located, drill and secure with a self tapper.
Did the same the other side.Refitted the heater hoses and made up some packing for under the dash support bars.
